I am Hanelke Bruwer, owner of Hanelke Photography & Design. Early in my life, I discovered my passion for photography and design. There isn't much that captures my attention as a creative, beautiful, emotional or unique photograph. Therefore it wasn’t a surprise that I chose the Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography to pursue and complete my Visual Communications degree. In early 2022, I emigrated to the Netherlands from South Africa. 

My goal is to capture your precious moments. Almost any location is an opportunity to create magical art. What makes it unforgettable is that a photograph lasts forever. It’s one of the best ways to remember every detail of your most cherished moments. With that mindset, I look forward to every new day and every client I can help, including you. 

Luckily for me, my husband Etienne is my assistant and business partner. As an incredible developer at Capgemini, he is always there with me to create the most relaxed experience possible. As a team, we provide our best work.  

I can also help you with your graphic design needs if you need that instead. Having worked in the corporate world before freelancing, I know how to execute briefs and deliver work that exceeds expectations and takes brands to the next level.
